About

Greeenway Bank covers 114 acres and contains features from the days when the site was the landscaped grounds of a stately home can still be seen such as a Castellated Tower, Ancient Well and Hermits Stone.

There is a Visitor Centre and cobbled yard which once served as the stables and garages to the house. The Centre has information about the site and sells leaflets, gifts and light refreshments and has a small interior seating area and picnic tables in the cobbled yard.

From the M6 via Junctions 15 or 16 onto the A500. Then take the A527 heading for Biddulph following the brown tourism signs. Nearest Bus stop is on the A527 approximately 1 mile from the Country Park.
