Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent Local Visitor Economy Partnership

Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent Local Visitor Economy Partnership governance

Evolving Staffordshire's DMP to create a sector led LVEP

The Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent Local Visitor Economy Partnership (LVEP) marks the destination’s commitment to place management and joins other destinations across England supporting the development and delivery of England’s Tourism Strategy.

The partnership will be a dynamic collaboration between local government, tourism organisations, business associations, and key stakeholders dedicated to promoting and enhancing the visitor economy.

LVEP seeks to appoint an inaugural Chair for its newly formed Board.

Accountable to the Staffordshire Leaders Board, Stoke-on-Trent Senior Leaders, and the We Are Staffordshire Place Board, the Chair of the LVEP will also be supported by the Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent ‘Star Operators Group’ which will be the primary link between the  LVEP Board* and those working on the ground within our visitor economy.

The successful candidate will be a senior leader who may have a background in sectors linked to the visitor economy, but importantly, will be committed to represent the whole of Staffordshire and the success of the regional economy.

The chair of the newly established LVEP will oversee the strengthening of Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent’s thriving visitor economy and help build on the success and world class reputation of our international and national recognised visitor brands.

As chair, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in leading this partnership to new heights, ensuring sustainable growth and development and be committed to representing the whole of Staffordshire’s geography.

Applicants are encouraged to read the LVEP governance papers and Job Description/Person Specification before making their application via the online form provided.
