Hints and Tips for writing Award Winning applications
We understand that submitting an award application can be a daunting process, particularly if you’re a small business or have never done it before!
In order to support our county’s tourism businesses with writing successful Enjoy Staffordshire Awards applications, we are running a couple of award application workshops.
Places are limited and registration via Eventbrite closes 48 hours before the event.

Each webinar is free to attend, they will guide you through the full application process and the online sessions will help both existing and potential new applicants to understand:
- The benefits of applying for an award
- Which categories to consider
- What the judges are looking for
- How to create the best applications
- How to make the most of an organisation’s participation and success
These interactive virtual workshops will be hosted on Zoom, by Nell Barrington, a tourism awards veteran, who has helped hundreds of businesses write winning applications over the last 15 years – including national Visit England winners!
They last around 1 hour 30 minutes each and there will be an opportunity for Q&As. The content for each session is the same, therefore please book the date / time which suits you best.
