How to enter the 2026/27 Visit Staffordshire & Stoke-on-Trent Awards

  1. Check your business is eligible by reading the Competition Terms & Conditions.
  2. Decide which category or categories you would like to enter from the list below.
  3. Click on the category name from the list below to download sample entry forms, to help you prepare your application offline.
  4. Join one of our FREE online applicant workshops 
  5. Write a compelling entry, gather your evidence, weblinks, images etc. in readiness to complete the submission.
  6. Submit your best application by 6th September online using the Tourism Awards Application Portal.

All applications MUST be submitted online via the secure Openwater Tourism Awards Application Portal before the closing date of 6th September 2026. No other form of application will be accepted or considered.

Deadline for application submission is  11:59 pm on Sunday 6th September 2026

Judging period: 1st September – 31st December 2026

*One overall winner from these three categories will go forward to the national Taste of England Award

The awards give us the chance to celebrate Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent’s best tourism and hospitality businesses and the valuable contribution they make to the visitor economy. 

We will be holding a glittering black-tie Celebration Dinner and Awards Ceremony in March 2027 where the winners will be announced.
