Summer Campaign: #EnjoyStaffsSafely

couple canal boat Caldon canal StaffordshireWe have launched the #EnjoyStaffsSafely campaign today (Wednesday 12th August 2020), to encourage visitors back into Staffordshire after the Coronavirus lockdown.

Until the beginning of September, we will be promoting the county's tourism and hospitality sector to local residents and potential visitors within a one-hour drive time, emphasising that it is safe to visit again and showing the work you've been doing to adapt to welcome them back.

The campaign will be online, on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Google, driving traffic to the Enjoy Staffs Safely section of our website, which has information on businesses with the We’re Good To Go mark, and the national VisitEngland campaign Know Before You Go.

We have also created a page on the Eat Out To Help Out scheme, with listings of members taking part.

The online marketing will be supported by an advertising campaign on Signal Radio, running for four weeks on Signal 1 and Signal 2.

We have used images from across the county, promoting a wide range of attractions, activities, food & drink, and accommodation businesses, with the tag line ‘Time to…’ (for example ‘Time to explore’, ‘Time to treat yourself, and so on).

The campaign is a joint project with the Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire Growth Hub, who have created a number of case studies, and a short video, to drive home the message.

The marketing images for the campaign are available for you to download and use on your own social media platforms.

Or, if you prefer, you can use the #EnjoyStaffs Safely graphic on an image of your choice.
