There's still time to apply for grants of £10,000 or £25,000 in some parts of Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent - but not much of it!

Known as the Retail, Hospitality & Leisure Grant, and the Small Business Grant, they were created by the Government to help small and medium-sized businesses specifically in the tourism sector.

The Retail, Hospitality & Leisure Grant

For the Retail, Hospitality & Leisure Grant, the amount you could be entitled to is determined on the rateable value of your premises.

If your property qualified for Retail Rate Relief on 11th March 2020, you will be entitled to £10,000 if the rateable value is under £15,000, or £25,000 if the value is between £15,000 and £51,000.

The Small Business Grant

For the Small Business Grant, you are eligible if your business received small business rate relief (including tapered relief) or rural rate relief.

This grant is a one-off payment of £10,000.
