About

Overlooked by the rocky ridge of The Roaches, you can expect heaps of natural beauty and rugged views at Tittesworth Water. Explore meadows, woodland, and wetland on one of the three walking trails (up to 7.5km) and enjoy water sports, fishing, and birdwatching.

Little ones can enjoy regular seasonal trails and events throughout the year including Easter and Halloween Trails. The restaurant and café have delicious meal options, with beautiful views of the water. It's an ideal spot for families, featuring pushchair-friendly walks, a large play area, and designated zones for wild play and den building!

Free mobility scooter hire is available from the Visitor Centre.

Road Directions

Tittesworth Water is situated just off the A53 about 3 miles North of Leek on the main Leek to Buxton road. Look out for the brown and white tourist signs once in Blackshaw Moor. If you are heading North out of Leek towards Buxton there is a left turn just before the "Three Horseshoes Inn" or if you are coming south from Buxton it is the right turn just after the pub. We are about 1 mile along the road on the left hand side in the village of Meerbrook.The nearest railway station is Buxton, which is 11 miles away.
