About
The Animal Zone at South Staffordshire College, Rodbaston campus is home to around 700 animals from Meerkats to Monkeys. It is open at weekends and school holidays (opening times vary depending on the time of year). The animal zone has a host of exciting activities including animal encounters, meet the keeper’s sessions, feeding, craft sessions. There is an outdoor picnic and play area, tea room selling sandwiches, confectionary and cakes. There is also a wide range of gifts to purchase. Look out for the special events which are held throughout the year advertised on the website for example lambing weekends.
The Tea Room serves hot and cold drinks, snacks, sandwiches, cakes and ice cream. Where possible their food items are locally produced in Staffordshire.
Our shop sells a variety of pet products, including food and toys.
No dogs allowed onto the site except guide dogs. No smoking anywhere on site or at the Visitor Centre.
