Whether you’re planning a family day out, a weekend activity or searching for unique things to do, Go Ape have adventure covered.

Treetop Adventure

A 1-hour high ropes activity featuring platform-to-platform crossings and ziplines, perfect for family days out. This entry-level experience suits kids aged 4 to 6 years old, or those looking for a gentler start to their high ropes adventures.  Height requirement: over 1-metre tall. Age dependant supervision required. Navigate confidence-building bridges, tunnels and other obstacles. There’s something for everyone to challenge themselves with and enjoy. Platform heights vary up to 12 metres. Experience starts with a safety briefing.

Treetop Adventure Plus

A 1-hour high ropes activity, a step up from Treetop Adventure it features trickier platform-to-platform crossings and bigger zip wires. This mid-level experience suits children ready for a more challenging adventure, or those looking to try a shorter course before taking on Treetop Challenge. Height requirement: over 1.2 metres tall. Aimed at 6 to 10 years old, age dependant supervision is required. Longest zip wire is up to 130 metres long. Experience starts with a safety briefing.

Treetop Challenge

Go Ape’s flagship 2–3-hour high ropes activity. Climb rope ladders high into the trees, step from Tarzan Swings, navigate your way across tree-to-tree crossings and swoop along our famous ziplines. Available at 30+ locations, each offering a unique and thrilling experience. For adults and children over 1.4 metres tall, minimum age 10 years (depending on safety system) – age dependent supervision required. Experience starts with a safety briefing.

Forest Segway

Get off the beaten track and back to nature with a 1-hour Forest Segway experience. Available in season, go off-road and explore the forest on the latest in green technology. Electrically powered and self-balancing, they are easy to use and fun to drive. You’ll feel like a pro in no time after a quick practice session, then you’ll be off zooming from sight to sight across rugged terrains in beautiful forests. You must be at least 7 stone to ride a Segway. Age dependent supervision required.

  • Eco-Friendly - Our sites are located in some of the UK’s most valuable and beautiful environments and we take our responsibility to care for these areas seriously. When designing a treetop course we work closely with specialists to make sure it has the lowest possible impact on the forest. Our courses are designed to ensure no damage to the living tree – nothing is bolted into the trees, instead we use braces that grip the trunks and our platforms rest on these. These braces are loosened as the tree grows. We also inspect our trees annually to ensure their health. Our courses are also friendly to the wildlife. The wood peel (which is an otherwise waste product from timber processing) creates habitats for small creatures and the undersides of our platforms have provided the perfect shelter for nesting birds! In addition, we recycle as much material as possible.
