October half term in Staffordshire is full of family-friendly days out, with thrilling theme parks to get your heart racing, cultural capers to get the creative juices flowing, and pumpkin patches to get you into the Great Outdoors.
New measures, like advanced booking, are now in place at many of our attractions, to aid with social distancing, and you may be asked to wear a face covering, as per public health guidelines.
Download the NHS Covid-19 smartphone App and scan the QR code displayed at venue entrances to quickly and easily check-in during your visit.

Half term in Staffordshire
The spine-tingling Scarefest is back once again at Alton Towers Resort, with new attractions alongside legendary scare mazes, rollercoasters in the dark, and activities for younger visitors with The Freaky Five: Franklyn, Skelvin, Patch, Phil and Gretyl the Witch.
At Drayton Manor Park, the fang-tastic fun is Thomas-themed for More Treat Than Trick in Thomas Land, with meet and greets, live shows and more, plus theme park thrill rides and up-close-and-personal experiences with snakes and creepy crawlies in the zoo.
Breathe in the fresh air and take on a challenge at the National Memorial Arboretum, and at the National Forest Adventure Farm, where there is broomstick training, the Haunted Mirror Maze and more at their Spooktacular.
The scares are all indoors at Waterworld, where you can dive into the watery depths and meet the mysterious mermaid, the Crazy Cat, and Boogie the Bog Monster.
And there's fun for the whole family at World of Wedgwood, from Halloween pottery painting, to pot-throwing, museum trails and woodland walks.
Pumpkin Picking in Staffordshire
Head to Lower Drayton Farm for your Halloween pumpkin this year, before letting off some steam at the new farm park attraction, complete with a giant new play barn.
Pick them by moonlight at the National Forest Adventure Farm for Moonlight Harvest, a brand new event for 2020 featuring torchlight maize maze, live music and fairground rides.
There are thousands to choose from at Canalside Farm, while Essington Farm and Amerton Farm have a bumper crop waiting for you too.
