Road Directions

By Car: Uttoxeter is situated in East Staffordshire, 15 miles east of Burton-on-Trent and 12 miles west of Stoke-on-Trent so is easily accessible by exiting the M6 at Junction 15 or the M1 at Junction 23a then taking the A50 towards Uttoxeter.   

There are local pay and display car parks and the museum is a few minutes’ walk from the main Maltings car park.

Public Transport Directions

By train: There are hourly trains from Stoke-on-Trent and Derby stations to Uttoxeter Railway station where the museum is a 10-15 minute walk to Carter Street, Uttoxeter. 

By bus: There are regular buses from Burton-on-Trent and Stoke-on-Trent bus stations which stop at many of the small villages and towns on route. Accessible by Public Transport: Uttoxeter station is 1 mile away.
