Staffordshire Day Angels
As part of our Staffordshire Day programme this year, we wanted to say thank you to the wonderful 'Staffordshire Angels' keeping us safe through the Coronavirus outbreak.
A few weeks ago, when we asked the public to join in a tribute to keyworkers, volunteers, NHS and care staff, emergency services and volunteers by join in a community singalong of Robbie William’s iconic anthem ‘Angels’. we expected a dozen or so might be up for it.
We have had more than 200 people now send in their ‘singalong’ and the number is growing.
The submissions have been edited into a group sing-along and here is the result! We hope you like it!
If you’ve sent in something to us, but can’t spot yourself in the video, please don’t worry as we will be updating the first cut, and adding more people in as soon as possible.
It’s been a mammoth task to try to get everyone in, but we’ve been blown away by the response. We thank you all.
We’ll try to add the latest people who have sent in a video as soon as possible, perhaps into a second version.
We want as many people as possible to watch our tribute.
