Dreaming of getting away? Feel free to start planning your Staffordshire Staycation now.
Lots of our tourism businesses are open, including outdoor and indoor attractions, theme parks, hotels, holiday accommodation, shops, pubs and restaurants.
However, they have introduced new measures to help prevent the spread of the Omicron Covid-19 variant, in line with the Prime Minister's announcement on Wednesday 8th December 2021.
As of Friday 10th December, visitors are expected to wear a face covering at most indoor venues, apart from pubs, restaurants, other food & drink businesses, and accommodation businesses like hotels.
And from Wednesday 15th December, you will need to show your NHS Covid Pass, or proof of a negative lateral flow test, to enter nightclubs and other venues where large gatherings happen.
Please plan ahead and make sure you know what to expect on your trip, visit our Know Before You Go page to find out more.

If you see the We’re Good To Go logo, you know clear processes and a COVID-19 risk assessment are in place for your visit, for example on social distancing and enhanced cleanliness.
