Greenacres Barn and the Parlour

The Parlour is a brand-new Shepherd's Hut, which is ideal for a romantic break for those with a taste for adventure who want a little luxury as well. It's a chance to get off grid. There's no TV or wi-fi, but there's everything you need for a holiday to remember.

The Barn is a spacious and recently-refurbished barn conversion, it is available for short breaks or for longer stays. It's ideal for couples and families, and sleeps 4. It has all the comforts of home, right in the middle of the countryside. We are also happy to welcome dogs to the Barn!

Both are set in the middle of 11 acres of organic pasture on the edge of the small country village of Denstone, Staffordshire. Greenacres is 10 minutes from Alton Towers, close to Ashbourne and the Peak District, and a short walk from the centre of the village. It's ideal for walkers, cyclists, nature-lovers, and a lovely place to relax.

The fields surrounding us are home to a wide variety of birds and other wildlife, and many wild flowers. The gardens are planted with fruit trees including plum, apple, damson and quince, we grow our own herbs, fruit and vegetables, and we love to share. Come and see, and have a go on our antique swing!

If you are a lover of star-gazing, you will really enjoy our dark skies. There are no street lights around us, and on dark nights the skies are brilliant with stars. It's certainly a good place to bring a pair of binoculars and your imagination.
