The magnificent Shugborough Estate brings history to life and is the UK's only complete historic working estate. It is one of five visitor centres located across Cannock Chase, helping visitors to make the most of this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

 
 

In and around Cannock Chase you can explore agricultural villages that were once engaged in coal mining such as Chasetown, Huntington, and Burntwood. The latter has its fair share of inns and pubs, while Brocton is a small and attractive village with a nearby nature reserve and lake, home to a variety of birds.
