Owned by the Wildlife Trust, Staffordshire's most southerly reserve is an ancient lowland heath buzzing with some of the UK's rarest insects. You cannot fail to notice countless small holes made by ground nesting solitary bees & wasps.

From the A449 at Himley take the B4176 Bridgnorth Road towards Bridgnorth. After approx 1 mile, turn left at the traffic lights onto Wombourne Rd, signposted towards Swindon. Follow the road through the village of Swindon, round to the right and up the hill along Chasepool Rd. At the T Junction at the top of Chasepool Rd, turn right onto Camp Hill Road. Take 1st left onto Mere Lane, then 1st right at the T junction onto Highgate Rd. Our new building, the Cory Community Centre, (wardens offices, education room & public conveniences) are 1st entrance on right off Highgate Rd.
