We have a number of galleries featuring collections which tell the story of Newcastle-under-Lyme and its people from the Roman invasion onwards. Firm favourites are our amazing Victorian street scene with its life-sized shops evoking an era of great prosperity in the town and our toy gallery full of bears, dolls and toys from years gone by.
There is a programme of temporary exhibitions to suit all tastes including fine art, social history, crafts and a popular family-focussed show during the summer months. We collect and care for objects which illustrate our past.
