Rich's Roving Reports: National Football Centre
Staffordshire is full of unique experiences for visitors.
For instance, if you like our furry friends, there is nothing in the UK like Trentham Monkey Forest, where you can roam among macaque monkeys.
If you are a fan of children's TV, there's Drayton Manor Park, home to Europe's only Thomas Land.
There's also the brand new CBeebies Land Hotel at Alton Towers, the only hotel of its kind in the country.
And if you are into your football, there is no better place to visit than the National Football Centre, at St George's Park near Burton.
As a huge nogger fan myself I was keen to have a look around and see where the England teams prepare for friendlies and big tournaments.
It's a pretty comprehensive tour.
In only an hour I saw the huge changing rooms, the autograph wall (featuring loads of famous names), the hydrotherapy pools and gyms.
From there, we went on to the pitches, including one which is an exact replica of the pitch at Wembley.
And all against the backdrop of some beautiful, historic Staffordshire countryside.
Tours take roughly an hour and are £9 per person, with places available throughout the year.
Keep an eye on The St George's Park Tour website for further information on dates.
If you play a bit yourself, why not have a go on one of the 12 amazing pitches, which are available for hire?
They can accommodate full-side or small-sided football and coaching for all age groups.
Or spend a day as an international footballer on The Ultimate Football Experience, with an FA licensed coach to put you through your paces.
