A glittering awards ceremony will decide Staffordshire’s best food & drink businesses this month, with more than 40 from across the county competing.

Restaurants, pubs, tea rooms, farm shops and food & drink producers will go head to head at the 2018 Taste of Staffordshire Good Food Awards, which take place at Uttoxeter Racecourse on Monday 22nd October.

The black tie evening, in the 1907 Suite, will feature Staffordshire produce like Denstone Hall Farm beef, Cottage Delight chutney, Packington Pork and Needwood Ice Cream within the gala dinner menu.

It has been organised by Destination Staffordshire, in partnership with NFU Mutual’s Stone Agency, and will be hosted by BBC Midlands Today presenter Joanne Malin.

Destination Staffordshire Senior Marketing Officer Andrea Sammons said: “The Taste of Staffordshire Good Food Awards is our chance to thank our food & drink businesses for the contribution they make to Staffordshire tourism.

“With their commitment to delivering the best experience to their customers, through the highest standards of food and customer service, they are helping to put the county on the map as a foodie destination.

“We look forward to celebrating their role and recognising their hard work.”
