The new Dept for Education learning & skills initiative being piloted in Staffordshire, is being led by the Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire Local Enterprise Partnership and provides up to 100% funding to access 3 and above training and qualifications at colleges across Staffordshire. 

There are lots of courses on offer, many perfect for employees in tourism or leisure based enterprises who are looking to upgrade their skills, or for business owners wanting to expand their own knowledge and qualifications.  

Such as a level 3 NVQ Diploma in Hospitality Supervision and Leadership (QCF), or level 3 Diploma in Advanced Professional Cookery (Kitchen and Larder) (QCF) or even a fully funded level 3 Certificate in Principles of Leadership and Management (QCF)

There are many other courses on offer too, all with varying levels of subsidy available, up to 100% including

Colleges delivering the training include Stafford College, Newcastle Under Lyme College, Stoke-on-Trent College, Burton and South Derbyshire College, South Staffordshire College, Buxton & Leek College AND Acacia Training based in Trentham.
