Early May Bank Holiday - Monday 6 May
Friends of Victoria Park Plant Sale and Seed Swap
- Drop in at the Education Room and Small Greenhouse 11am - 3pm (weather permitting)
- A variety of plants and herbs available including tomatoes, coriander, parsley, dahlias, fuchsias, geraniums and many more
- Face painting with Lisa Fairy and garden games on the green outside Alberts Café
- 32nd Stafford Brownies fundraising chocolate tombola
- 10% discount on plant purchases for members of Friends of Victoria Park - don't forget to bring your membership card or join on the day for just £5 for the year
- If you would like to donate any pots, seeds or plants please drop off in the park or contact Carolyn on 07787 708575 to arrange collection
- All proceeds will be used to continue the successful Gardening Project, providing educational sessions and plants to local schools and community groups

Thursday 6 June
D Day 80 Beacon Lighting
6pm to 9.30pm
Join us as part of the international commemoration of the 80th anniversary of the D Day Landings on the five beaches of Normandy on 6 June 1944.
Along with other communities throughout the UK, we will be lighting a beacon on the bowling green, with its flames representing the 'light of peace' that emerged from the dreadful darkness of the war.
- Live entertainment around the bowling green from 6pm including local singers, poets, choirs and dancers
- Official Beacon Lighting Ceremony from 9pm
- UK's number one mobile operator in the National Fish and Chip Awards 2024, Jo Jo's Fish and Chips will be serving all evening
- Albert's Café open until 9.30pm
- Project Doughnut
