Our ground floor cottages have good facilities for guests with limited mobility. They have ramps, wide doorways, parking immediately outside and level tarmac pathways.

Our luxury holiday cottages have a unique design, so we can be super-flexible. You can book the cottages individually or we can link some together to cater for larger groups. So we can create cosy retreats for romantic weekends or multi-roomed cottages for larger reunions. With comfortable communal spaces alongside private sleeping arrangements, they’re ideal for corporate away-days too.

About us

Upper Rectory Farm

Upper Rectory Farm is a working arable farm set in 200 acres of cornfields on the edge of the National Forest in Leicestershire. The original granaries, stabling and cowsheds were cleverly converted into holiday cottages by Jean and David back in 1999. They surround three pretty courtyards, the perfect space to relax with family, friends or colleagues whilst enjoying panoramic views across Leicestershire’s idyllic countryside.

What to see and do

Upper Rectory Farm Cottages is set on the edge of the National Forest, right in the centre of England. There are lots of local attractions, places to eat and visit nearby. Drayton Manor and Twycross Zoo are within a 30 minute drive. But there is so much more to see and do during your holiday here.

We hope all our guests are staying safe and well during this difficult time.

We’ve recently re-opened our cottages and very much look forward to you returning.

We have completed our risk assessments and are following government guidelines to enable us to open safely. We are taking bookings with full refunds should your visit not be able to take place due to coronavirus.
