The Tourism industry's most valuable asset is the people working within it, yet only a small percentage of tourism businesses have ever engaged with the public sector support mechanisms set up to help them. The provision of business support, quality and skills main fall under the sphere of Business Link and the Learning Skills Council. These, along with local education establishments and Destination Staffordshire are opening up training to more businesses.

Training Courses
At present, courses offered include:-
Ambassador Course - This is a half day course to give staff a clear understanding of the Staffordshire brand and are aimed at people who are actively involved with presenting or communicating with the public on behalf of Staffordshire.
Welcome Host. - This is the UK's number 1 training course in customer service, it combines an expert overview with specific actions to improve customer service in your business. The one-day training course includes a mix of inspirational presentation, essential tips and individual action planning.

TALENTS
TALENTS is a group of organisations that have come together to develop a user-friendly service to help you get timely advice and support with the minimum amount of effort on your part including Business Link, Learning and Skills Council, local colleges and Destination Staffordshire.
Our strength is that, as a team, we are able to address the majority of requests through a single point of contact.
