ERDF funding will only cover funding for SMEs.  Please look at the terms of assistance to see if you are covered.

Terms

ERDF funding

ERDF stands for European Regional Development Fund which with the European Social Fund (ESF) and part of the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD) is funded by European Structural and Investment Funds. The funds are from the European Union for projects that create jobs and economic growth. We were able to gain further funding for our support programme until the end of 2019.

SME

SME stands for small or medium sized enterprise. Under the New SME definition from the European Commission (2.2.1) an establishment should have:

  • Turnover less £25 million
  • Gross Assets less the £12.5 million
  • Employ less than 250 (FTE) employees and that does not include apprentices.
  • The business can not be owned by a non-SME.

The price that a business pays for each Guestlink + Product is calculated on each renewal date for each product, so for example a business that has purchased a product on an annual basis and is currently halfway through a subscription year would become eligible for the new price when they next renew at the end of the subscription year.
