Destination Staffordshire Board Members

The Partnership is managed by the Destination Staffordshire Board which consists of a private sector Chair and Vice Chair, one representative from each local authority in Staffordshire including Stoke-on-Trent and the Peak District National Park plus a representative from Advantage West Midlands.  Local authorities are responsible for nominating their representatives, usually a senior officer or elected representative with decision making responsibilities.

An equal number of representatives from non-local authority organisations, specifically senior private sector individuals from major operating attractions, accommodation and other visitor support sectors.   In addition, constituted local tourism associations are given up to 3 places (maximum 1 per association) on the Board.  These non-local authority members of the Board are elected.  

Staffordshire County Council provides the Partnership with secretarial, administrative, accountancy and other services and facilities reasonably necessary for carrying on the business.  The Board members are currently: -
