Capability Brown's Staffordshire

Lancelot 'Capability' Brown is a giant among English Garden designers. In the 18th century his 'natural' style transformed stately home gardens and landscapes right across the country.

Weston Park and Chillington Hall in South Staffordshire and Trentham Gardens near Stoke-on-Trent are fine examples of Brownian landscapes.

2016 marks the tercentary of his birth with a host of special events throughout the year.
