Cheadle Carnival Committee
We are a local community group of around 12 members in the town of Cheadle, Staffordshire, all with the same vision – to organise and run a weekend of family entertainment for the town.
The Committee was formed in 2016 with the aim to bring back the Carnival after more than 20 years. Following two years of fundraising, the Carnival returned in July 2018. 2020 and 2021 Carnival plans were moved to 2022, which saw an appearance by the Lancaster Bomber, the JCB Dancing Diggers, and the JCB GT.
2023 saw the Big Pete and Grim Reaper monster trucks, and plans for 2024 are well underway, beginning with out Rave on the Rec event on Friday 5th July featuring Dave Pearce, and several DJs from Trax Radio UK.
