Have a brilliant Bank Holiday Weekend in Staffordshire!
It's the last bank holiday before Christmas so send summer out with a bang in Staffordshire!
Sample some fantastic Staffordshire produce with stars from Great British Bake Off, feast your eyes on Appetite's spectacular outdoor shows, and meet some children's TV favourites - the choice is yours.
There's plenty of things to do in Staffordshire this Bank Holiday Weekend!
Get a taste of Staffordshire
There will be live demos from Bake Off's Val Stones, Frances Quinn and Christine Wallace as the free Lichfield Food Festival returns (Saturday 26th-Monday 28th).
Relish the mouth-watering produce, including locally produced fruit wine and delicious refreshing gins, from over 200 food producers.
Take on the chilli challenge and watch Lichfield's top chefs go head-to-head in a Ready Steady Cook battle!
And there's street food from around the world, live music, cookery classes and children's activities to enjoy too.
Whet your Appetite with arts extravaganza
The streets of Stoke-on-Trent City Centre will come alive this weekend (Friday 25th-Saturday 26th) with a feast of spectacular theatre performances.
Appetite's Big Feast must-sees include an Urban Astronaut, visiting from the future to save the planet, and HOH, an interactive dance show dedicated to football!
And the amazing Settling exhibition is a huge photographic archive telling the story of people who have journeyed from all over the world to create new lives in The Potteries.
For younger visitors there's story-telling in The Little Library Van, a giant inflatable whale revealing secrets of the sea, and arts & crafts and singalong sessions at the Colour Box.
Who's Afraid of the Big Bad Wolf?
Spend some quality family time at The Trentham Estate and find out whether Little Red Riding Hood can escape the Big Bad Wolf's clutches (Sunday 27th).
Trentham's beautiful gardens will form the backdrop for Page 2 Productions' brand new open air adaptation of the classic Brothers Grimm fairytale, Little Red Riding Hood.
Will Little Red deliver the food to her poorly grandma? Will the Big Bad Wolf blow the Three Little Pigs' houses down?
All will be revealed at Trentham this weekend!
Meet some kids' TV favourites
Children young and old will love the special guests at the National Brewery Centre this weekend (Sunday 27th-Monday 28th).
Sooty and his friends Sweep and Soo, legends of children's TV since the 1940s, will be coming to the Brewery Centre for the first time, bringing with them plenty of madcap fun!
With the zany experiments of Sublime Science, plus magic shows, face painting, arts & crafts, fairground rides and more, there's loads of fun for all the family.
You could also meet the beautiful Shire horses too.
Bank Holidays in Staffordshire - just the tonic!
Enjoy a gin-credible Bank Holiday while exploring stunning countryside at Churnet Valley Railway's Gins & Trains Festival (Friday 25th-Monday 28th)!
G&T takes on a whole new meaning, with nearly 50 gins to try as you wind through Staffordshire's Little Switzerland, stopping at three beautiful train stations along the way.
Choose from a host of fresh garnishes as the experts from Society Bar mix your tasty tipple!
And you can also sample the Railway's real ales, or a glass of fizz from the Prosecco bar if you prefer.
