Arriving from Buxton approx. 12 miles or Ashbourne 5 miles on the A515 you turn opposite Newton House (HFC Holidays Hotel). Travel towards Alstonefield down the hill over the river Dove, carry straight on for about 1 mile. When entering the village of Alstonefield take the road sign posted for Wetton and Ilam, you will pass 3 greens after the 3rd turn left leaving the village. Travel approx. 1/4 mile out of the village half way down a hill and Rowlands Cottage is on the left.
