Redfern's Cottage celebrates the museum of Uttoxeter life in a 17th Century timber-framed building which used to be home to Francis Redfern. In late summer the museum will close for a short period during a major refurbishment.

Reopening in Spring 2017, Redfern's Cottage will host seven new interactive galleries exploring the history of Uttoxeter, a new Cafe and Shop.

The museum will be offering guided tours, group visits and education visits in addition to a regular events programme.

Check out the website for the 2016 events programme which will take place around Uttoxeter during the refurbishment.
