The Hare and Hounds Inn

Bed & Breakfast with 11 rooms £60-£120 prpn

Stramstall Village,
ST14 5AL

Built in approximately 1730, The Hare & Hounds has always been a coaching inn on the old Leek to London route. We are located just a stone's throw from the stunning Peak District National Park - the perfect place for walking, cycling or photography holidays.

The Hare & Hounds is a countryside bed & breakfast with a cosy and welcoming restaurant and bar, situated in the centre of the picturesque Staffordshire village of Stramshall, just to the north of Uttoxeter.

Our accommodation consists of comfortable en suite double bedrooms, an en suite family room and a self-contained apartment, all of which come with a choice of hot and cold breakfasts and within easy reach of Uttoxeter Racecourse, Alton Towers and Trentham Monkey Forest.

Our warm and welcoming restaurant offers a fantastic selection of homemade evening meals, featuring the best of the wonderful local produce we have available on our doorstep. The majority of our food is sourced from within a 20 mile radius, meaning we know that it is very high quality and as fresh as can be - as well as supporting local businesses.

Relax in our traditional bar which serves a choice of drinks including keg bitter, lagers, ciders, spirits and hot/cold soft drinks. Explore our specially-selected wine menu of award-winning wines from around the world.
