Kilnworx is Staffordshire's only sport and lead climb facility based in the historic Wycliffe Hall in Burslem. The centre has over 105 routes equipped for top rope, lead & sport climbing, complete with traversing wall & abseil stations. Ideal for beginners and advanced climbers. Plus 'learn to climb' and 'advanced skills' training offered. Groups and parties catered for and regular kids climbing club. Free entry to look around and coffee and hot chocolate served. Kilnworx also have other activities like slackline, yoga and fitness classes all coming soon.

By rail: Nearest rail station is Longport, exactly 1 mile away -connecting us to Crewe, Alsager, Kidsgrove, Stoke, Stone & Stafford every hour.

By bus: Route 3 & 10 connecting Newcastle, Wolstanton, Porthill, Longport, Smallthorne, Ball Green & Kidsgrove – stopping Newcastle Street, Burslem (behind the centre) every 30 mins during the day and every 40 mins in the evening.

Routes 3, 7, 10, & 21 connect Trentham, Trent Vale, Stoke, Shelton, Hanley City Centre and Tunstall, Kidsgrove, Alsager & Crewe stopping at Burslem Square every 20 mins during the day and every 30 minutes in the evening.

By road: From the A500 take the Burslem/Tunstall exit and follow A527 to Middleport mini roundabout. Here, take the second exit and follow B5051 Newcastle Street towards Burslem town centre. Take the second exit at the large roundabout at the top of the hill and turn right again and Wycliffe Hall will now be on your right below the Home Bargains car park entrance.

From the motorway: From M6 south exit at junction 15 and take A500 or from M6 North exit at junction 16 and take A500 south then follow road directions above.
