Roast beef and Yorkshire pud has to be the headline dish on St. George’s Day but there is plenty of other classic English fare on the menu including roast loin of pork with Bramley apple and crispy crackling, game pie with caramelised onions and some splendid English cheeses. Ryan’s take on an English trifle may not be traditional but it’s very good.
Bring family and friends and indulge in a quintessentially English Sunday lunch and enjoy leisurely stroll around the grounds where daffodils, tulips and flowering trees are starting to bloom. Feed the deer, see our flock of rare-breed Manx Loagthan sheep and relish the start of Spring.
