The Nicholson Gallery is housed within the Nicholson Institute and is a living example of late Victorian philanthropy. The Gallery features a mixed programme of community based exhibitions, local history and collection exhibitions on a permament basis and today is home to a collection of impressive oil paintings, ceramics, local history and a fine selection of the famous Leek Embroideries. Visitors include William Morris and Oscar Wilde.
