Well Dressing, Mon 1 - Sun 7 May 2017
Burton upon Trent,
Well dressing is a summer custom practiced in rural England in which wells, springs or other water sources are decorated with designs created from flower petals. The custom is most closely associated with the Peak District of Derbyshire and Staffordshire
Newborough's annual well dressing takes place every year on May Day, it is a lovely family day out where people can look round beautifully decorated wells and traditional hand picked craft stalls. There will be plenty of entertainment throughout the day for all the family.
