Biddulph Moor is a large village located on the hill which bears the same name, is semi-rural and is the source of the River Trent. Its highest point is over 300m above sea level and it enjoys views over Staffordshire, the Cheshire plains and on a clear day the Welsh mountains are visible.

The village has pubs, a post office and a few shops. Next to the local village hall there is a park where many different events including fund-raisers are held. One of the more significant and popular of these is 'Rock on The Rocks', an outdoor music event held each summer.
